Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about RF Microneedling.

RF Microneedling combines tiny needles with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen remodeling. It treats fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and laxity by creating controlled micro-injuries that prompt the skin to heal stronger and firmer over weeks to months.

Most clients report mild to moderate discomfort managed with topical numbing. Expect redness and tenderness for 24–72 hours; swelling and flaking may persist a few days. Makeup is often possible after 24–48 hours depending on individual healing.

A typical course is three to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, though deeper scars or advanced aging may require additional treatments. Results accumulate over time; maintenance sessions yearly or as advised help preserve improvements.

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding clients, people with active skin infections, open wounds, recent isotretinoin use, or certain autoimmune conditions. Those with implanted electronic devices should consult a physician. A thorough consultation determines candidacy and safety.

Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, waxing, and sun exposure for at least one week prior. Stop blood-thinning medications only after consulting your physician. Arrive with clean skin and disclose medications, allergies, and prior procedures during your consultation.

You may notice immediate tightening and glow, but collagen remodeling takes time. Significant improvements typically appear four to twelve weeks after treatment, with continuous enhancement over several months and optimal results after the full treatment series.
