9 Hybrid lash extension aftercare habits that actually add weeks

Retention isn’t luck. It’s a handful of small habits that keep the bond clean and calm. We’re big on comfort too, and we want you leaving our Greentree studio feeling relaxed, not irritated.

• Keep them dry for 24–48 hours. That means skip steam, long hot showers, and saunas right away.
• Clean your lashes with an oil-free foaming cleanser. Clean lashes hold better. Dirty lashes shed early.
• Avoid oil-based skincare near the eyes. Eye creams and balms travel. If it feels slick, it’s usually not lash-friendly.
• Brush daily with a clean spoolie. A quick brush keeps the set looking neat and helps you spot tangles before they turn into fallout.
• Hands off. Rubbing, picking, and absent-minded pulling are the fastest ways to lose fans and classics.
• Skip heavy mascara. If you use anything at all, keep it light and avoid waterproof formulas. Waterproof removers are usually oil-based and tuggy.
